While seated at the da Vinci® console, Dr. Teng operates the robotic instruments with carefully scaled, filtered, and translated movements as he focuses through a high-definition 3-D camera. The innovative technology creates small incisions to introduce the miniaturized, jointed robotic arms and perform the procedure without the need for open surgery.
